I stayed clean shaved and kept my hair generally short at BYU, but thought it stupid to have that be required. I thought one of Chilango's best point was that it negates the positve interview affect. You have no idea what a BYU grad is likely to dress or look like after graduation, because they are forced, needlessly, to dress and look a certain way. Potential employers would prefer to see what CHOICE the interviewee makes, what they want to look like and what they are likely to ook like when not forced by the school. There is literally no basis for keeping this regulation that I can think of, no good reason. I wasn't really bothered by it while attending, but thought it absurd. Still do.
