Outstanding portrayals of the various political players leading up to Dunkirk. Fantastic Winston Churchill.

I cried during a number of the scenes observing the courage of the British public and some in its leadership on that occasion. I guess I hadn’t quite understood just how dire was the English predicament or how much courage it took for them to withstand Hitler and not fold virtually immediately like most of their allies did.

Inspiring and emotionally powerful movie. Highly recommend!
