I feel as though the BYU to P5 ship has sailed for good.

The world of TV rights and revenue is changing quickly, which creates much uncertainty among the conferences. This feeling of uncertainly will do anything but push them to add more mouths to feed. Add this to the “BYU vs the world” narrative pertaining to LGBT rights, and the hurdle looks even more daunting.

I hope I’ll be proven wrong, but I don’t see it happening; atleast in the foreseeable future.
