She's African-American and loves the show Atlanta, which is pretty much Portlandia but in Atlanta and with a black cast. I like about half of the Portlandia sketches. Even though the shows have identical premises and formats, I don't like Atlanta and she stares at me like I'm from another planet when I put on Portlandia.
