has talented writers who, among other good things, provide a needed counterbalance to mormon hegemony in utah.
but it's also true that sometimes they unfairly skew or misrepresent facts to further an agenda. this is nothing new. it's basically impossible to remove all bias.
with that said, if they dont survive, i won't lose sleep.
they (along with newspapers all over the country) are peddling a product that consumers dont want or need. im sure people were sad when railworkers were laid off after being made made obsolete, but such is life. trying to artificially keep the railroad industry afloat would be a mistake. same goes for the trib.
in sum, utah is a bad school full of criminals and degenerates.
