Since you know Mexico City I’ll stick to that, but I’ll admit that I never heard many complaints from people living in Lomas de Chapultepec, Lomas de Tecamachalco, Lomas Verdes, Bosque Real, Santa Fe, Polanco, La Condesa, or Coyoacán.
As a typical expat, how much time did you spend in places like Cuautapec, Molinito, Tacuba, Ciudad Neza, Doctores, Iztapalapa, or Buenavista? It’s a completely different world. The reaction and attitude you would have encountered would be very different.
