Since you know Mexico City I’ll stick to that, but I’ll admit that I never heard many complaints from people living in Lomas de Chapultepec, Lomas de Tecamachalco, Lomas Verdes, Bosque Real, Santa Fe, Polanco, La Condesa, or Coyoacán.

As a typical expat, how much time did you spend in places like Cuautapec, Molinito, Tacuba, Ciudad Neza, Doctores, Iztapalapa, or Buenavista? It’s a completely different world. The reaction and attitude you would have encountered would be very different.

You sound like someone in the US from the Hamptons who is shocked to hear that someone has a gripe with Hillary Clinton and voted for Trump. They’ve never heard of such a thing in their world, how could it exist outside of it?
