No, I'm saying we need to define marriage as a society and make decisions based on that definition. I think marriage and

civil union rights have become too entagled and we need to separate them. Everyone should have the right to profess love in a long-term union. Everyone should have rights of survivorship and legal joining. Tying those rights to marriage has become problematic.
