I explained, the former VP who lost the controversial election in 2000 and then became a Climate Change guy. Nothing was registering. Then joking around I asked if he knew Bill Clinton? He had nothing. Then I said, George Bush? Nada. The girl next to him though, same age and also just graduated said "I think I know the name Bush, wasn't he a president in the 90's?" At this point I was pretty much done, but I said it anyway, "Obama?" He said, "yeah I know him."

There was an awkward silence.

I don't know what's going on folks, but I learned all my presidents in elementary school. Even if you asked me who William Taft was in 6th grade I would have said he's a president.

This dude just got two degrees in engineering.
