I don’t feel bad for them. I grew up with most of my peers not being able to afford college
so they either didn’t go or they worked while going to school to pay for it. In some cases, modest and practical loan amounts were taken to avoid irresponsible levels of debt. It really should be this simple for those who don’t have scholarships or parents willing to pay for it.

The vast majority of these pity me college debt stories are stories of kids who only went to school and didn’t have a job to help pay for it. They lived up their college years thinking they were entitled to being a full time student with no job. Now that it’s time to pay the piper they are going to pretend they are victims. Nobody forced these people to take unreasonable levels of debt.
