The situation with college costs is very similar. More money in the system and the lower end of the market is gone or non-existent. The only meaningful way to restore the link between the value of an education to its cost is to remove the imbalance from the system; the supply of money has to equalize with the demand for a premium education. Only then will we see newer options for students arise which are more affordable.
