journalists usually do give both sides of a conflict a chance to explain

themselves. so when you say "the article painted him in a bad light" it was really just the reporter quoting the towing company's attorney. Of course the towing company's attorney is going to try to paint the guy they are suing in a negative light.

If you watch the video, the student seems calm and intelligent while the towing company's attorney sounds like he is making stuff up.
