It is really too bad that he wasn’t able to come to BYU. He said the 2 reasons he wanted to come to BYU was the HC and coach Howell. He said that Howell was the only coach that talked to him about academics and about his home life, all the other coaches wanted only talked about his football situation.

He did mention that the day before signing BYU let him know that he wouldn’t be able to get into school because of “off the field issues” and that’s why he had to go to another school.
