It is, and at Rayados' new stadium. Plan on going to a game there.
Monterrey is an awesome city, and I've been meaning to visit that stadium for a while now.

Anyone else not excited about 2026 being in Canada and Mexico?

it did seem weird to me, even though I'm happy for my home country of Canada

Me. Three countries is unnecessary. Any one could have hosted.

Vast majority of games are in the US. Mexico has at least three viable locations

I'm not trying to be dismissive but three locations...three?

They have more than 3, but with only 10 games, it doesn't make sense to have

Can you imagine CONCACAF qualifying without the US and Mexico involved?

TBD, but it is an expanded field that year w/ 48 teams instead of 32.

CONCACAF with 6 bids.

Some believe the US wouldn't have won the bid had they not pulled in Mexico and

There will be 10 host cities in the US and 3 each in Mexico and Canada

If US went solo then Morocco likely wins the bid instead.

Mexico has hosted a WOrld Cup on its own, so don't be worried about them. And Canada has stadiums too.

Mexico only has one stadium that is currently up to WC standards.

How are Mexico's three stadiums failing?

You're right, I forgot about the stadium in Monterey.

Only 2 stadiums to renovate. And 8 years to do it. Not too worried. And Canada is ready with their CFL stadiums.

I'm not sure how that will work with our impending war

I think Trump watched "Canadian Bacon" and thought it was a training film.

I think it's awesome that some of the games are in Mexico and Canada.

Not saying they're going to make the spectacle fail but '86 was a LONG time ago

Not that much longer than 1994. And Mexico has way more experience than the US
