Buying a home in Silicon Valley is a great decision if you can afford it.

Home prices are already 2 to 2.5x what they were at the height of the real estate bubble in 2007. Most places in the U.S. are lucky enough to get back to those same prices back in 2007. Real Estate appreciation from San Jose up to San Francisco is ridiculous.
