complimentary of BYU. It's a great school and I don't think I've ever argued otherwise.
Despite being a great school, BYU is not the *right* school for everyone - even those with 4.0+ GPAs and ACT scores of 36. I know many BYU grads that are amazing people and I know a lot of BYU grads that are complete goobers. I'm fine with both groups.
What I find interesting is that as a group, BYU grads are far more likely than any other to put down other schools. That includes Stanford grads, MIT grads, Harvard grads, you name it. It's like you guys have a weird inferiority complex, despite having gone to a great school.
Why do you suppose that is?
