Players drafted from USU since 2008:
Shawn Murphy, Kevin Robinson, Curtis Marsh, Bobby Wagner, Robert Turbin, Michael Smith, Will Davis, Kerwin Williams, Maurice Alexander, Nevin Lawson, Nick Vigil, Kyler Fackrell, and Devonte Mays. 13 players total.
Players from BYU: Brian Kehl, Austin’s collie, Fui Vakapuna, Dennis Pitta, Harvey unga, Ziggy, Kyle Van Noy, Bronson kaufusi, Jamaal Williams, Fred Warner. 10 total players.
May not be double, but the Aggies definitely have a better selling point about getting players drafted.
Also your argument about schedule differences is weak. Your comparing your big name games vs our average conference games.
Not only is a large part of your schedule filled with Mountain west and other G5 teams like New Mexico State, but we also have plenty of big names opponents on our schedule. These last five years we’ve played USC (twice), Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Washington. We are playing Michigan State this year and have both LSU and Alabama scheduled.
TruerBlue is right. From a program standpoint, BYU in all reality doesn’t have much more to offer an athlete than Utah State does.
