There's a gap between the two averages, but I wouldn't describe the difference as "But trying to compare the Aggies awesome schedule to BYU's is a joke. I can't take you seriously if you honestly think the 2 schedules are comparable."
What isn't debateable is Utah St's easier access to NY6 bowls. Boise played in the Fiesta Bowl with 2 losses, Utah St could as well someday, any G5 team could. Once BYU loses they're automatically destined for another fourth tier pre xmas bowl, assuming they get bowl eligible.
