At least they didnt keep him around for 2,3,4 "2nd chances" as many on CB wanted

They realized a mistake was made, then they spent the money to bring in some solid replacements. I think Tom Holmoe said the other day that this is "by far" the highest paid coaching staff they've ever had. They know they need to turn this around ASAP.
