Check out the seminary program. At Palo Verde there is a huge seminary program. Kids get surrounded by lds friends and it helps them navigate a tough part of life. I am certain that Centennial is good for this too. The "keeping up with the Jones" issue is overblown. I am certain that pressure exists in all the schools we have mentioned. That is all in your own mind. Get into a ward, stake and seminary that provides a good support system.
