We need to see if these new coaches can get these QB's to play well.  Last year's QB's were really bad.  Mangum was ineffective until he got injured.  He was still injured during spring practices.

Hoge played OK.  Had some exciting moments.  Got injured 2 games in last year.  Then this year he couldn't get through 3 weeks of practice in spring without being injured.

Contemplating whether we should start Mangum or Hoge is a hard discussion to have.  Both have been unavailable since the first part of October 2017.

We can't be worried about ineffective / injury prone players transferring.  We should only worry about getting the best and most durable player on the field.
