I think between them they attended 6 camps with both Coach Pearce and Coach Jones-Spencer. But they also understood what they would get out of the camps. It was a break from private lessons and a busy tournament schedule to attend BYU Tennis camp and have fun, enjoy the environment while getting some matches in. They did learn from the coaches but a college camp for tennis will not provide the skills development and one-on-one coaching it sounds like you are looking for. Incidentially you won't see many future recruits at college tennis camps like you see at the football camp. Tennis recruits are busy playing at USTA tournaments and the coaches are well aware of the talent based on USTA rankings and tournaments. It's just a different situation.
