I'm just saying they should have been willing to live with it. Common sense then, and reality now, suggests the LHN was never going to be sustainable at the price they were paying UT. The LHN is dying. Their ratings suck, show quality is laughable, and they repeat shows more than CNBC does Shark Tank.
Had those schools been willing to consider the option, my guess is that A&M would have been likely to have an issue, but unless they were talking to the SEC in 2010, they would have had no choice and even if they balked, you can let them go and take CU as UT and OU were the prizes anyway.
