and perhaps I am reading your replies as a cynic and applying the "scoffing" in other posts as I read your words. So many BYU fans would probably tip over and die if they gave Utah even a back-handed compliment. That vehemence is on full display in this thread. I just try to point out that the cut and dry or clear dominance of one of these schools over the other just isn't there. But each department and program should be analyzed on its own and with your purpose in mind.
