They are now expected to follow the HC 24/7 wherever they are. My wife is

Friends with one who was told it was ok to drink at home but never on campus or whike representing the university at a conference. A few years ago, she was told that she would have to follow the honor code at all times as a condition of her continued employment, which she accepted and has not complained about.
