Move the goal post all you want, but clearly there were some stories about it nationally. And it was big story locally (as you seem to agree).

Clearly this got a lot of press. I guess I don't understand how anyone can think that the attention your school got for this move was anything but bad. But whatever.

In any case, you guys seem to be trying to have it both ways. Was Chris smart for keeping it on the down low when he was trying to keep negotiations between the Pac 10, Colorado, and Utah quiet because he thought politicians would try to stop the move to the Pac 12?

If he was so smart then, how could he possibly not expect blowback from the legislature after they learned that the school was so easily willing to part with $80,000?
