It may have been a typo but I don’t think the new

normal is 4-8. You probably meant 8-4.

I hope you are right. Maybe a new AD could shake things up but I think the issues go beyond the AD. I don’t have any inside info but I think it’s an issue of priorities from the BOT. Being a dominate and consistently competing FB program is 87th on their list of priorities. And, at the end of the day, I can’t argue with that.
