That's a good point.

What you're saying in your argument is protecting your family is more important that not killing. What I'm saying is that when BYU selectively enforces its HC in order to protect its image, it's also showing that protecting its image is more important than mercy. Whether you choose to call it hypocrisy or the wrong priorities, I choose to call it wrong.

I have great respect for BYU and its mission. I just disagree with some of its policies and their enforcement.
