Tom, I come from the future and you need to listen to me. You need to pony up the dough and:

1. Hire Jeff Grimes from LSU as OC and pay Ty Detmer enough to make it worth his while to be the QB coach/OC in training because Grimes will not want to stay here long.

2. If you really want Ty as OC, you have to hire experienced coaches who can implement his vision without needing coaching themselves.
