There's a lot of ambiguity of what our chances really were in 2010. Was BYU
really foolish enough not to pursue P5 status because they had so much wrapped into Independence? Surely they realized that even joining a Big XII that was completely unstable and reeling was still way, way, way better than Independence or G5 status right? If they didn't pursue the Big XII in every way possible then it's the biggest AD failure in BYU history.
