A Brief Open Letter to B Criddle:
I am a constant listener to your program. I am a member of BYUs coaches circle, I am a season ticket holder. I don’t live in Utah, but I make it a point to try to use your advertisers. I will buy a truck from you sponsoring dealer. I have discretionary funds and will make my BYU attending kids see your dad for dental services.
That is a long way of saying, I am the exact type of listener you want. A dedicated, informed fan who has and is willing to support the program and BYU friendly businesses (like your stupid t shirts) because I believe in the program.
You are constantly using innuendo and double entendres. It is so tiresome and unnecessary. As a listener, I can literally hear you cohosts cringe when you do it. Why do you? Can you not resist? When you do it, you sound so cliche like a really bad, extreme version of Michael Scott.
You always talk about repressed Mormon men. Most Mormon men aren’t repressed. Most are married. You are repressed and maybe can’t stop yourself.
I tell you this because I want you to improve. Maybe a well placed joke once in a while keeps things interesting. But the constant barrage of off colored comments is just tiresome.
Please be cognizant of what you are saying...it is more than cringeworthy. You sound foolish when you do this. You do not represent you sponsors or your guests well when you do this.
I wish you the best.
