So Wasatch Academy has become a really, really big time Prep School in Basketball producing a ton of talent. Their Coaches have always been fairly anti-local colleges and especially BYU. Now, David Evans, the Lone Peak Basketball Coach, is taking over at Wasatch and has a much, much better relationship with Dave Rose and staff.
Could this lead to a new Pipeline for elite recruits to BYU? Obviously, I am not expecting Wasatch Academy to be the new Lone Peak. But, if some of the elite talent at Wasatch Academy would now at least look at BYU because the Coaches are more friendly, it may be nice.
