Pittsburgh - surprisingly cool city, very underrated
I spent the past two days in Pittsburgh for a conference. I don’t know what I was expecting, but their downtown area has a fantastic vibe. It was clean, devoid of homeless people, and interesting. The park along the rivers was fantastic. The downtown architecture was an interesting mix of historical and modern. The mountain across the river overlooking the city with an old-fashioned rail incline was really cool. The many yellow suspension bridges are iconic. The football and baseball stadiums are impressive. The food was surprisingly good. I recommend Pittsburgh.
