Mountain climbers complaining about unsafe mountains.

First of all I believe if a person wants to have a motorcycle it is totally their right to have one...

My neighbor complained about the astronomical expens he has to make in life and health insurance just bc he has a bike... I just had to nod while I was thinking of the countless bikers I transported around the hospital covered in scaffolding holding bones together and most all of them said the wreck was due to loose gravel.

Btw people, most bikers are under insured so... the rest of us without bikes get to pay the difference ( just one reason health insurance is so high).

Next... I was completely alert, listening to loud music, but alert.... looked over my left shoulder saw nothing So I merged left only to see in my mirror a biker recovering after I cut him off... it turned out to be a jerk Harley dude that gave me a piece of his mind (which I accepted) but seriously, I looked... didn’t see him... guess what, bikes are A LOT smaller than cars... they WILL NOT always be seen... there is no way around that. To blame phones and texting is SO dumb!!!! How do you know they were not looking at the GPS?

I’ll also say, my brother has a bike, a bunch of really good dudes in my ward have bikes... most are not road renegades that are wrecklesd showboaters.... bottom line bikes are really really dangerous... another CBer recently posted a link on motorcycle accidents.... I believe it was bikers are 30x more likely to die in a crash than the next vehicle type! 30x. that is whatever number multiplied by 30 MORE likely to die!!! Also motorcycles are the second most likely vehicle TO GET INTO a crash behind commercial trucks.... is there ANY question motorcyclist health and life insurance is so high?

So if you own a bike it is totally and sadly your right but it is a stupid stupid thing to do. I hope your kids are all grown up
