Fredette is scoring, but I think BD is looking like the MVP of the team in this game. Providing more defensively and really creating matchup problems down low.
Not impressed by Ledbetter. I read he was this Spurs summer league guy who's a fantastic shooter and all that. He's bricked everything, looked pretty stagnant on D, and made several bone-headed passes for TOs.
EJ Gallup hasn't provided much of anything, just a lot of bricks.
I like mighty mouse Crawford, decent passer and usually plays under control, good effort on D. But I'd like to see him able to break guys down a little more and force problems with the D. He didn't quite seem aggressive enough. I doubt he has much of a shot and that's probably part of the problem.
Jimmer's team really sucks on the boards, getting hammered. This is where you need Abouo to step up, he's very capable, but he's another guy that has played pretty poorly. If you're not hitting shots bro, get after it on the glass. He always did struggle to finish around the rim despite his strength.
James took quite a while to get going, but he provided a big spark off the bench. A little too ball dominant though, and likes to go iso too much.
Cooke is a really nice athlete, I think if they played together a little more he could really help with the rebounding and defense that are sorely lacking.
Hope they get guys like Hobson back, could really use more bodies that understand rebounding and ball movement.
