if you spent 4+ years at BYU and that was your only time living in Utah
You don’t know about living in Utah. You might be able to discuss the weather intelligently, unless of course if you went home every Christmas and summer break, but not much else.

I was you and thought I had it all figured out. Even after graduating and buying a house in Provo, I still didn’t have a clue. Until I moved away from Provo AND aged past my 20s, I still didn’t get it.

Its like me claiming to know what its like to live in Norway because I was there for 2 years. Nope, I was just a visitor with very limited exposure.

Not that there is anything wrong with staying for school then going back home or somewhere else. But to think you “know” about living in Utah.....you have a small glimpse, but even that’s likely not representative.

End of rant

Utah is a wonderful, magical place. I'd live there if I didn't have dreams. (BeefNoodleSoup, Aug 9, 2018 at 12:58pm)
