Let's break down your 4 links one by one....

First link

I want to wish Tanner Mangum the best in his recovery.  When you get injured you go through all sorts of emotions afterwards.  It's the mental part that worries me.  He has already admitted to having depression, that may only make it harder to recover.  I pray for him and my heart goes out to him just like it did for Taysom last year.

Please explain how this is calling him soft or shaming him? Looks like this is pointing out that coming back from injury is hard enough for anyone, and he wishes him luck because he came out about the depression issue.

Second Link

After seeing Mangum in 2015, I could literally see his talent. His throws were rarely off target! Has his depression and stress zapped ALL of that skill? From your posts, I am wanting to know how bad things have gotten with him. If true, he needs some sports psych help. I think it is worth a try. Until he is more comfortable, why not let Beau Hoge or little Detmer run the system. At least the ball will be thrown more consistently and to the right read.

Again, not really shaming. Are we stress shaming him too because he mentioned stress in his post?

Third link

I think all of that depression and anxiety has affected his play. We know he has those demons, and they are awful but you can almost see it happening to him on the field. It's almost like talking about it has made it worse for him, not better. He isn't playing with the same fire he played with as a freshman. He playsbwith anxiety and unless he can overcome that he will only be a shell of 2015 Mangum.

Please point out the shaming here. There is stipulation that depression has affected Tanner's play... If I said that an injury affected a players play, would that be injury shaming? Not really understaniding this one

Fourth link - clump this in with the point above

Honest question... thoughts on Tanner Mangum and his depression. He really is a nice dude, but Mangum has admitted he battles with depression and it's appearant that it's affected him and has no confidence in himself out there.
