I’ve gotten like 30 Utah fans kicked out of games using it. And since the problem fans are also probably annoying other fans, it’s usually a pretty painless process to get people to point them out to the ushers.

I get that BYU fans like to play the martyr as often as possible, but there are ways to get bullies and drunk fans to back down. And the UofU (and 90% of other fans in the stadium) is generally willing to address the problem fans pretty directly.

I’m as big of a critic as anyone about the fan behavior in RES, but if you go to the game, have a terrible experience because of drunk fans, and don’t take the time to tell the facilities about it, then you probably missed an opportunity to stick it to the idiot fans you love to complain about. It makes for less of a story about how terrible Utah fans are in general, but man it’s fun to see the totally drunk fans walked out the doors of the stadium.
