We sat right under the press box and suites. We had some some friendly banter going on with the Utah fans in front of us. Halfway through the game some fans a few rows up started getting a little heavy with the verbal insults. One of them threw an empty whisky bottle at us. But to my surprise the Utah fans that we had been having fun with stood up and told them to knock it off. Then the whole section proceeded to join in and tell the bad fans to knock it off or leave. I was shocked. Based on this experience I decided to go to another rivalry game at Rice Eccles. The second experience was nothing like the first. Terrible experience.
