I know exactly what stereotyping is.
But why this exercise of listing bad actors in Ute Nation? We can make up all sorts of excuses but the reality is that we love these stories about a few dozen idiot Ute fans because it justifies our stereotypes of Ute fans being inbred knuckle-dragging mouthbreathers.
If that wasn’t the intention of the thread then maybe we should’ve been asked to list all the kind deeds that Utes have done for us. Or maybe we should’ve listed all the bone-headed stuff that we, cougar fans, have done in LES (cuz there are plenty).
The intention of the thread was to gather dirt, to perpetuate a stereotype of Ute fans.
Let’s keep things real.
