I've been to quite a few at RES
Ones that stand out, 1998, my FIL decided he was going to be a Crimson Club member, had some nice seats so my wife and I were invited to the big Utah/BYU game. Had a little 4 year old in front of us flip me off and yelled "F" BYU to the amusement of his parents every time Utah did anything relevant. Crushing loss for the ole Utes and had a few catcalls from the parking lot walking back to the car. Nothing too serious.

2000 ... same seats, Utah fans were pretty sure they were going to win this one at the end of course and seemed a bit more polite. Not much to remember up to that last drive when Doman punched it in to the end zone. I thought 98 was delightful walking out, 2000 was even better. Lot of somber Ute fans leaving the stadium. Too dark for drunk fans to notice my BYU colors that night.

2003 ... Cold, nasty, hated every second and it was at Cougar Stadium. It was Urbans first year and we had the lousiest QBs ever.
Talk about a frustrating year. The 2017 team would have pounded this team.

2004... RES, sat by some interesting Ute students. Don't know how they do it but they had enough liquor to keep a party going all night long. Knew it was going to be a long night when we let one of their WR's score on some ridiculous 96 yard screen play.

2005 - I think this was the OT game (Beck's first game against the Utes), great game because no Utes in sight. I had Cougar Club tickets. :).

2006 - RES - northeaster bowl 1/4 of the way up. Harline was so wide open on that play. Stadium was great, Ute fans all around
me were great, nice and chippy but not too crazy. Alcohol only thrown at me once and they were yelled at by surrounding fans. My buddy in NW bowl didn't quite have the same experience. He and 4 BYU fans were sitting by and old man (Y fan) and his grandson (Ute fan), I guess a couple drunk Ute fans above these two fans were razing the old man all game long. So when Harline scored one of these drunk Ute fans knocked off the hat of the old man. Then pushed him down a couple rows. Little kid was crying and my friends buddy (who has been in jail a few times) looked at the Ute fan who pushed him, cocked back his hand and dropped him. Ute fans around the incident cheered my buddies and told them to get out before security showed up. I must say a majority of Ute fans are not low-lifes, just a minority and they are get all the attention.

2007 - Another great one in LES, this time in was a drunk BYU fan sitting next to me that was the problem. Closest I've ever been
to an actual fist fight at a game.

2010 - last Utah/BYU game I've attended. That was crushing thought we had them. I can understand the anger with Anae that game.
We were rolling with Heaps down the field and we have to settle for FG try. Still, we should have nailed it. Not much to complain about in Uteville that year either.
