My father in law is a BYU season ticket holder going on around 37 or 38 years. We have bought tickets with him for the past 11 years and are right next to the visiting team's fans at LES. Needless to say, the black sheep of my wife's family graduated from Utah and is a big Utah fan. He gets season tickets and sits in the MUSS. They have a deal to bring each other to the BYU-Utah games. It sucks having a Ute with us, but it is what it is. My Father in law is a small man and so he is really afraid to wear BYU gear to any Utah game at RES. So he goes and sits with his son and is usually left a lone because he keeps pretty low key.
Needless to say, he went to get some food and came back to a very drunk Utah fan sitting in his seat. My brother in law is also very small and did not know what to do and hope he would leave on his own. My father in law did not want to cause a commotion, so he a tried to be nice by telling him that he was in his seat and that he was going to need it back soon. The guy looked at my father in law's ice cream that he was about 1/2 gone, and asked him for a bite? He told the drunk Ute fan that he could have a bite but he would have to come over and get it. He then sat it at the far end of the walkway on the ground. Sure enough, the Ute fan got up and walked over to where the ice cream was and started eating while my father in law sat down. He figured it was a fair trade since my father in law just had a liver transplant and is pretty old. After eating the ice cream, the Ute fan was too drunk to find his way back to the seat and took another Ute fan's seat. That did not go over too well and the guy was removed by security after a fight with the other Ute fan.
