I didn't see any improvement from freshman to sophomore to junior year. To be even in a competition as a senior after having three years of playing time tells me that experience is his number one asset, not talent or leadership or drive. He also made a comment that said whether he's ready or not, he needs to be ready or he'll lose the competition. With the lack of improvement and a comment like that, he doesn't sound motivated enough to be a next great QB to win all your games. (does anyone close to the situation see something differently?)

I want him to succeed badly. But someone else needs to take the reigns, because I don't think he's developed enough to be the guy.
