The cliche about “if you have 2 QBs, you don’t have 1” has been proven false
many times.
In BYU’s own history, there were times when McMahon, Detmer, Doman, and Beck did not win the starting job.
We know Mangum can play at a high level; he’s done it. So if he is in a battle, it’s more indicative of Wilson’s high level of preparation.
