But more athletic people play golf now because of Tiger. A Foot Joy rep said
a few years back the average shoe size on tour in the 80s/90s was 9.5. Now it’s 11. Just more guys like a Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Tony Finau, etc. There are still smaller players that are good but it has definitely changed.
You still need to make putts though. That’s the X factor period.
