"Bold". That is one word for it... Considering the fact that we couldn't get past midfield, vs. LSU, and finished among
the absolute worst in most offensive stats last year- we'd be lucky for Riley Nelson talent, at QB this year. (I like Riley, for the record.)

I got married too soon after my mission- my wife was two years younger. We were married for just over seven years. In that time, I'd say we were genuinely happy for maybe 61 hours. We got separated in June 2007, and divorced in June 2009. (No major sins were committed by either party- although I did use explicit profanity, many times- while driving alone in my car- as a way to decompress.) *After* I was divorced- after seven years of misery- and two years of "solitary confinement", my bearings were TOTALLY out of whack. I think I fell "in love" with the first 13 girls I met after that.

My purpose in sharing this is not a means of achieving catharsis. (I'm WELL past that chapter of my life.)

My point is to suggest that perhaps the OP has developed "Mission Goggles" after the abysmal year we had last year.

Will BYU be able to match up against every team we play this year? No. With five P5 opponents, BYU would do well to finish 1-4. (Most likely Cal.) MAYBE we luck out and beat Arizona, since it's Sumlin's first game. So, 2-3

Wisconsin is a loss!
Washington is a loss!
At Utah is probably a loss! (Sorry.)

We probably lose @ Boise.

So that's 4 or 5 losses. Best case scenario.

Even if we go 6-0 vs. everyone else, which is NOT a gimme- we're looking at a 8-4/7-5 regular season. To ME, that's a significant improvement over 2017. Bowl eligibility would even be an improvement.
