Shortly after we were married, my wife bought tickets to a BYU homecoming dance for us
(I wasn't a fan of going, but she really wanted to dance).

She wore a dress that looked great on her, and I thought was the appropriate length. It covered her garments, and was probably right at her knee. She's 5'11", though.

Well, somebody in charge at the dance told my wife that her dress was too short. If you know both of us, you know we don't try to push the rules. It wasn't too short, but that person thought differently. We were asked to leave. My wife was embarrassed, and cried on the way home. Kind of ruined the night.
