My dad passed away and some players comforted my Mom

My dad (an avid BYU fan, who looked like Lavell) was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer July 25th and passed away 16 days later. 79 years old. 2 days after him passing, on a Sunday, Butch Pa'au, Khyiris Tonga and Tevita Mo'unga showed up to visit my Mom. They brought 6 cakes and a massive amount of fruit for our family. The thing that amazed me, they were all beat up from hitting each other all week. Limping into her home (they looked really sore), they had her smiling and laughing and cheered us all up. These are amazing young men and I feel like a lot of their good deeds off the field go unnoticed, which is fine, but I just wanted to recognize these guys for their service. I'm sure they were wanting some rest but in the words of Mr. Rogers' mother: “To this day, especially in times of 'disaster,' I remember my mother's words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers — so many caring people in this world.” Go Cougars!
