This bears repeating...Arizona and Cal should both be winnable games for a normal BYU football team.
I don't understand why so many are so fearful of these first two games. Arizona has Kahlil Tate who is a very good player, but if you look at his output last year teams kind of figured him out as the season wore on. IMO the best way to defend Tate is to put 8 in the box and dare him to beat BYU through the air. IF BYU cannot get some pressure on the QB from a 4 man rush, its going to be a very difficult season, but even so, BYU's defense, if they are any good this year at all, should be able to at least slow Tate down some.

The offense, almost has to be improved over last season. IF its the same or worse, holy cow. But assuming that the offense will be improved, they should be able to put up points vs both Arizona and Cal who had horrifically bad defense.

My point. BYU should at least split the first two games and if they can find even some their form from 2016, then they could very easily be 2-0 going into Wisconsin.
