BCriddle was discussing the ceiling or floor for BYU like others do and I just do not think it makes sense. Here’s why
How do you define ceiling or floor for BYU football? When I think floor it’s the minimum expected games you don’t expect BYU to ever lose. This year that’s 4. When it comes to the ceiling I think of those games where it’s feasible for BYU to win. It’s not a question of if they are favored but if it’s not unreasonable or far fetched to think BYU could win the game.

With this definition or explanation I put the floor at 4 ceiling at 10. The only two games on the schedule hat would at this point seem like a miracle if we won would be WISC & UW.

When it comes to acceptable outcomes for the year I still think 6 wins is the minimum, 7 is good, 8 amazing, and so on.

I just keep hearing Ceiling and floor numbers thrown around and they don’t have a consistency definable parameters that make for a good discussion.
