Ate a wild mushroom in his yard and started throwing up 12 hours later. A poison control expert identified a picture of the mushroom as lepiota castanea, which is supposedly an extremely dangerous (deadly) variety. Anybody have experiences with toxic mushrooms that might help his parents know what they could expect? He is in the E.R., is connected to an IV, and they are doing liver tests, I guess. Lost a lot of liquid and is pretty out of it.
